- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 lb. mixed lean meat (beef, pork, veal), cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 (1 lb.) cans sauerkraut, drained
- 1 bay leaf, crumbled
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1In large heavy skillet, saute chopped onion in oil.

2Add the mixed, cubed meat; fry 30 minutes.

3Stir in sauerkraut, drained and crumbled bay leaf.

4Simmer covered for 1 1/2 hours, until meat and sauerkraut are tender.

5Season to taste with salt and pepper. Just before serving, stir in the sour cream.
