Ingredients
- 2 oz. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 12 or more c. flour
- 3 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water.

2Add rest of ingredients, except flour.

3Add 4 cups flour; mix well.

4Let set 1/2 hour in warm place.

5Add rest of flour.

6Knead well and let rise until double in bulk.

7Make loaves and rolls.

8Put in greased pans.

9Let rise until double in size.

10Bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes or until brown for bread.

11Bake rolls 40 minutes or until brown.
