- 3 to 5 c. diced fresh bread or 3 1/2 c. stale bread (trim away crust)
- 2 c. scalded milk with 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. raisins
Directions

1Soak bread with these ingredients for 15 minutes.

2Stir lightly with fork.

3Preheat oven to 350°.

4Place in baking dish in pan of hot water (1-inch deep).

5Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

6Serve warm with milk or cream.
