- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 4 qt. broth or soup
Directions

1Combine flour, baking powder and salt.

2Add 1 cup chicken broth and oil, stirring well until dry ingredients are moistened.

3Turn dough out on a floured surface and form into a ball.

4Roll dough to a 1/16-inch thickness.

5Cut into 5 x 1-inch strips.

6Drop dumplings into boiling broth.

7Cover and cook 15 minutes or until dumplings are tender.

8Makes 16 servings (that's what the cookbook says it must be mouse size servings).

9Can add poultry seasoning, sage and onion to taste.
