- 2 c. plain medium cornmeal
- 1/3 c. bacon drippings
- 1 Tbsp. salt (may add more)
- enough water to mix by hand
Directions

1Mix ingredients until moist.

2Add enough water to make a smooth mixture (but mixture needs to hold its shape).

3Form into pones.

4Grease iron skillet and heat.

5Place pones into hot skillet.

6Bake at 425° until brown.
