Old Fashioned Raisin Pie

- 1 c. orange juice
- 2 c. raisins
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- pastry dough for 9-inch (2-crust) pie
Directions

1Put orange juice and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in raisins.

2Let stand 2 hours.

3Add sugar, flour, lemon juice and salt to raisin mixture.

4Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes or until thickened. Heat oven to 425°.

5Roll out half of the dough and line 9-inch pie pan.

6Pour raisin mixture.

7Roll out remaining dough and a lattice top.

8Crimp together top and bottom dough.

9Bake for 10 minutes. Lower temperature to 350°.

10Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until top is browned.
