- 1 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- pinch of salt
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together, except the flour. Add the 4 cups flour

2gradually to the mixture until the dough is the right consistency.

5Roll out thin and cut

6in desired shapes. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes. Sprinkle sugar on top of each tea cake. Makes about 4 dozen.
