  • 1 c. long grain rice (uncooked)
  • 1 c. New York state cheese, diced
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar stuffed olives
  • 1 can tomatoes with juice
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • pinch of basil (optional)
  • dash of Tabasco sauce (optional)
  • black olives (optional)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients.

    Bake in tightly covered casserole dish for 1 hour at 350°.

    Rice will absorb the moisture.
