- 1 c. long grain rice (uncooked)
- 1 c. New York state cheese, diced
- 1 (2 oz.) jar stuffed olives
- 1 can tomatoes with juice
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
- pinch of basil (optional)
- dash of Tabasco sauce (optional)
- black olives (optional)
Directions

1Combine all ingredients.

2Bake in tightly covered casserole dish for 1 hour at 350°.

3Rice will absorb the moisture.

4If recipe is doubled, add 15 minutes cooking time.
