  • 3 large raw potatoes, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 c. cut corn
  • 1 c. precooked rice or 8 oz. fine egg noodles, uncooked
  • water to cover
