"One Knuckle" Rice Or Perfect Rice Every Time

  • 2 c. rice
  • 3 c. water or enough water so when you stick forefinger in water and touch rice the water comes to first knuckle
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. butter or margarine

Directions

    Put rice in pan; add water to level previously mentioned.

    Add salt and butter.

    Bring to boil.

    Cover and turn to low.

    Leave covered for 20 minutes.

    Perfect rice every time.
