  • 6 medium onions, diced
  • 1/4 c. melted margarine
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • dash of nutmeg

Directions

    Simmer diced onions in melted margarine until golden, but not brown.

    Combine eggs, milk and seasonings, then add onion mixture. Bake in a greased 1-quart casserole in a 375° oven for about 25 minutes or until custard is set.

    Serve hot.
