- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 2/3 c. water
- 2 egg whites
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cook sugar, syrup and water over medium heat (using heavy saucepan) to hard-ball stage.

2In the meantime, beat egg whites and salt until stiff but still glossy.

3Pour syrup into egg white mixture in thin stream while beating until mixture begins to lose its gloss.

4Add vanilla and nuts.

5Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
