- 20 g butter
- 2 large yellow onions
- 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
- 1 1/2 cups basmati rice
- 3 cups chicken stock
Directions

1Heat Butter in medium pan, cook finely chopped onion and seeds, stirring until onion is browned lightly.

2Add rice, cook stirring, 1 minute.

3Stir in stock, simmer, covered for about 15 minutes or until rice is just tender.

4Remove from heat, fluff rice with a fork, stand, covered for 5 minutes.
