  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 onions, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • vegetable oil for frying

Directions

    Sift flour and salt into a bowl.

    Add milk, oil and egg; beat until smooth.

    Separate onions into rings.

    Dip each ring into batter.

    Fry 2 to 3 minutes in 375° heated oil.

    Turn, drain and sprinkle with salt.
