- 4 c. thinly sliced onions
- 4 (10 oz.) cans undiluted beef broth
- 4 to 6 slices French bread (1-inch thick)
- 1/4 c. grated cheese
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In a large skillet, saute onions until golden.

2In a medium saucepan combine sauteed onions and beef broth.

3Bring to boiling. Reduce heat; then simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.

4In a broiler, toast French bread on both sides.

5Sprinkle with grated cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.

6Broil just until cheeses are bubbly, approximately 1 minute.
