- 1 stick oleo
- 4 c. sliced onions
- 2 cans condensed bouillon beef broth
- 1 Tbsp. salt or to taste
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 heaping Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 lb. sharp cheese
- croutons
Directions

1Melt butter in skillet.

2Add onions and cook on low heat for 15 minutes until onions are soft.

3Transfer to large saucepan. Add bouillon and 3 cans water, seasoning and parsley.

4Bring to a boil; lower heat and cover.

5Let simmer about 20 minutes.

6Roughly grate hard cheese.

7Serve soup in heated bowls or mugs and pass cheese and croutons.
