Open-Faced Raisin Pie

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 1 c. cooked raisins
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Directions

    Cream the sugar, butter and egg yolks.

    Add vanilla and flour. Add raisins and about 1/2 cup water they were cooked in.

    Add the nuts.

    Beat egg whites and fold into mixture.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell; bake at 325° for 40 minutes.
