- 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- butter or margarine
- salt
- pepper
- paprika
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 5 Tbsp. white wine or cooking sherry
- 1 can consomme
- 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and cut in half
Directions

1Brown chicken breast halves in butter or margarine in large skillet.

2Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika.

3Put in large casserole dish.

4Add mushrooms to skillet.

5Stir.

6Add flour over mushrooms.

7Add white wine or cooking sherry and consomme.

8Stir until sauce thickens.

9Arrange the artichoke halves around chicken.

10Pour mushrooms and sauce over.

11Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
