• 3 eggs
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 1/3 c. buttermilk
• 2 c. nuts, chopped
• 1 orange, grated
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp. soda
• 3 c. flour
• 2 c. dates
• 1 tsp. vanilla
