- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. fresh orange juice
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. grated orange peel
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1In medium size saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.

2Add juices slowly and stir until smooth.

3Add remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat until thick and glossy (mixture will be thin). Cool.

4Spread on any type of pound cake.

5If desired, split cake into 3 layers.

6Pour glaze between the layers and over the top and sides of the cake.

7(Very good on Carrot Pound Cake.) Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
