  • 1 34 cups sugar
  • 2 12 cups water
  • 1 12 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 1 12 cups fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons grated orange peel
  • water

Directions

    In a saucepan, combine sugar and 2 1/2 cups water; cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally; cool.

    Add in juices and peels; stir.

    Cover and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour; strain syrup; cover and refrigerate.

    To serve, fill glasses or pitcher with equal amounts of fruit syrup and water.

    Add ice and serve.
