  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 c. Karo syrup (Blue Label)
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 c. whole pecans
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

Directions

    Mix eggs, syrup, salt, vanilla, sugar and butter.

    Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell.

    Bake for 15 minutes at 400° and 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.

    Filling will appear slightly less set in center.

    Serves 6 to 8.
