  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • peel of 2 oranges, grated
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 c. dates
  • 1 c. flaked coconut

Directions

    Cream together margarine and sugar; beat in eggs.

    Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add alternately with flour and salt.

    Mix in orange peel, nuts, dates and coconut.

    Cook in a 300° oven until done.

    Bake in a ring pan.
