  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 c. milk, divided
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla or pineapple pudding
  • 2 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1 large pkg. Cool Whip
  • nuts or coconut

    Bake cake in 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Cool.

    Soften cream cheese in 1/2 cup milk.

    Blend well.

    Add rest of milk alternately with pudding in cheese mixture.

    Beat 5 minutes at high speed.

    Sprinkle pineapple over pudding.
