Orange Pork Chops

- 4 pork chops (1-inch thick)
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- juice of 2 oranges
- grated rind of 1 orange
- 2 oranges, peeled and sliced
Directions

1Dust chops with flour seasoned with salt and pepper.

2Brown chops in hot butter about 5 minutes on each side.

3Combine brown sugar, orange rind and juice; pour over chops.

4Cover; reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes.

5Arrange orange slices on meat; simmer another 5 minutes.

6Transfer chops and slices to a heated platter. Add 2 tablespoons water to sauce in skillet; stir and heat well. Pour over meat.
