- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 stick butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. orange flavoring

1Cream Crisco and butter until creamy, about 5 minutes.

2Add eggs one at a time; beat well.

3Sift together plain flour and salt.

4Add to creamed mixture, a little at a time, alternating with milk, begin with flour and end with flour.

5Beat about 1 minute.

6Add orange flavoring.

7Beat afterward.

8Grease and flour a tube pan.

9Pour mixture in and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours. Start in a cold oven.
