  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 box dates, chopped
  • 1 can coconut
  • 2 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together. You may have to use your hands as the batter will be stiff. Pour into a tube pan and bake 1 hour and 45 minutes at 300°.
