  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 lb. orange slice candies, cut into bits
  • 1/2 lb. cut up dates
  • 1 can coconut
  • 2 c. pecans
  • 1/2 c. flour

    Mix the first six ingredients together, then mix 1/2 cup flour with all the other ingredients and then mix all ingredients together.

    Cook in tube pan at 250° for 3 hours.
