- 2 c. sugar, divided
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. grated orange peel
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 12 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine 1 cup sugar and orange juice.

2Set aside.

3Cream butter and remaining sugar; blend in sour cream. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.

4Beat at low just until ingredients are combined.

5Stir in orange peel, raisins and nuts. The batter will be stiff.

6Spoon batter into greased muffin cups, filling each cup completely.

7Bake at 375° for about 12 minutes or until done.

8While still warm, dip each muffin into reserved sugar/orange juice mixture.

9Cool.
