Oregano Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs (3 to 4 slices with crust removed)
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. cooking sherry (or water with beef bouillon)
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano

Directions

    Mix bread, milk, onion and salt.

    Whip well.

    Add meat and mix well.

    Make into small balls.

    Brown in butter.

    Remove meatballs; drain grease.

    Add ketchup, oregano and sherry (bouillon).

    Return meatballs and simmer for 20 minutes.

    Serve over hot rice or noodles.
