Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds Organic Stewing Beef
  • 1/4 cup Organic All Purpose Floor
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 27 ounces Can of Organic Diced Tomatos
  • 2 cups Organic Beef Broth
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 3 Potatoes, peeled
  • 3 Carrots, peeled
  • 3 stalks Celery
  • 3 Shallots, chopped
  • 3 Bay Leaves
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced

Directions

    Mix beef, flour and pepper in a bag. Shake well to coat cubes.

    On medium heat, heat oil in a large pot. Brown beef cubes for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Add tomatos, beef broth, shallots, garlic and thyme. Mix all ingredients well and bring to a boil. Cover pot and cook on low heat fro 2 1/2 hours.

    Add potatoes, carrots, celery and bay leaves. Bring to a boil. REduce heat and cover. Simmer for approx. 45 minutes or until veggies are tender.
