Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch (rounded)
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 can pineapple chunks (drain and reserve 1/2 c. syrup)
  • 1 large green pepper, cut in 1-inch squares
  • 24 small meatballs, browned
  • 1 can Vienna sausages or small cocktail wieners
  • 8 cherry tomatoes, cut in halves

Directions

    Combine cornstarch and sugar in pan; add vinegar, soy sauce and pineapple juice.

    Mix well.

    Heat to boiling.

    Reduce heat and simmer 1 to 2 minutes or until thick.

    Put remaining ingredients in chafing dish and pour sauce over.

    Keep warm and serve with toothpicks.
