- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. each: sage, ginger and salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 fryer, cut up
- flour
- 1/3 c. fat
- 1 (No. 2) jar boiled onions with juice
Directions

1Combine lemon juice, soy sauce, sage, ginger, salt and pepper in casserole.

2Let chicken stand in this mixture for several hours in the refrigerator, turning occasionally.

3Remove chicken from marinade (save).

4Coat with flour and brown in hot fat.

5Return chicken to marinade in casserole.

6Add onions and juice.

7Cover. Bake 40 minutes at 375°.
