- 1 md. onion, coarsely chopped
- 1 md. green pepper, coarsely chopped
- 6 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 4 bay leaves
- 1/8 tsp. marjoram
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 4 juniper berries, crushed
- 3 cups sliced okra
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 to 2 dash Tabasco sauce
- 2 to 3 tbsp. burgundy
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp. butter
Directions

1Saute onion, green pepper and celery butter olive oil until onion is transparent.

2Add chicken broth, tomato puree, bay leaves, marjoram, thyme, basil and juniper berries.

3Simmer cover about 30 minutes.

4Add sliced okra, garlic, sugar and Tabasco sauce.

5Simmer 15 minutes.

6Add wine, heavy cream and salt to taste.

7Remove bay leaves before serving.
