- 15 cups popped popcorn (about 2/3 cup unpopped)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions

1Heat oven to 200F.

2Divide popcorn between 2 ungreased rectangular pans, 13x9x2 inches.

3Heat brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until bubbly around edges.

4Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally; remove from heat.

5Stir in baking soda.

6Pour mixture over popcorn; stir until well coated.

7Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
