- 10 lb. cleaned chitterlings
- 1 green pepper
- 1 large whole onion
- 1 tsp. ground red pepper
- 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
Directions

1Lay chitterlings on heavy-duty foil.

2On top, place onion, pepper and other seasonings.

3Wrap in foil very tightly, making sure ends are tightly closed.

4Put 2 inches of water in a roasting pan.

5Put foil wrapped chitterlings in pan.

6Cover well; bake in 350° oven for 3 hours.

7Check water level in pan; if low, add 2 more inches.

8Bake 2 hours more (total of 5 hours).
