Oven-Fried Chicken

  • 2 c. instant potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. or to taste thyme
  • 1 tsp. or to taste garlic salt
  • 2 lb. chicken legs
  • 2 lb. chicken breasts
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Wash chicken; place on platter.

    In plastic bag, mix instant potatoes, thyme and garlic salt; shake well.

    Prepare cookie sheets, lined with aluminum foil.
  4. 4
    Set oven to 450°.

    Put chicken in plastic bag, shake, take out and place on cookie sheet (not touching).

    When golden, with turkey baster, put drops of water (keeps moist) on each piece.

    Takes 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour.
