- 1 c Self Rising Flour
- 1 c cooking oil
- 1 cut-up chicken
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 1 medium Bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 branch celery (chopped)
- salt and pepper
- 8 cups hot water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp fil
Directions

1Boil chicken and set aside.

2In a large pot mix flour and cooking oil and cook over low to medium heat until color of chocolate.

3Turn off heat and add onions, bell pepper, and celery. Cook this until soft, stirring constantly.

4When soft, add water 1 cup at a time very slow.

5When everything is mixed, add chicken and bay leaf, salt and pepper to taste.

6Simmer for 2 hours.

715 minutes before serving, add fil.

8Serve over freshly cooked rice.
