Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 2 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
- 3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1 (12 oz.) jar raspberry preserves
- 1 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

2In a large bowl, combine dry cake mix and oats.

3Stir in melted butter until mixture is crumbly.

4Place 1/2 of crumb mixture (about 3 cups) into pan. Press firmly to cover bottom.

5Combine preserves and water.

6Spoon over crumb mixture in pan and spread evenly.

7Cover with remaining crumb mixture.

8Pat firmly to make top even.

9Bake in preheated oven at 375° for 20 minutes.

10Top should be light brown.

11Cool completely.

12Cut into bars.

13Makes 3 dozen bars.
