Ingredients

  • 2 broilers, cut up
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 3 dashes Tabasco
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 2 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard in 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika

Directions

    Salt chicken and place skin side down in shallow baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients and brush both sides of chicken with mixture.

    Bake in moderate oven (350°) for about 45 minutes, turning and basting often, until tender.

    Just before serving, put into a 400° oven for 10 minutes or broil 5 minutes for a crisp chicken (I do boneless, skinless chicken breasts this way, covered; delicious!).
