Oven Hash Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • dash of parsley
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 2 c. crushed corn flakes

Directions

    In a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex baking dish melt 1/2 of the stick of margarine.

    Pour hash brown potatoes over margarine.

    (Leave at room temperature for a few minutes or thaw in microwave for a few minutes.)

    Put on salt, pepper and parsley.

    Mix soup, sour cream, cheese and onion.

    Pour on top of potatoes.

    Melt other half stick of margarine and pour over crushed corn flakes.

    Mix together and put on top of the casserole.

    Bake in a 350° oven 45 minutes. Serves a large number of people.
