- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) chuck or rump roast
- pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic
Directions

1Roll roast in flour and pepper.

2Brown roast in butter.

3Place in large casserole dish with lid.

4Combine both soup mixes, salt and garlic and pour over roast.

5Cook until done at 325°.
