  • 1 lb. stew meat
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 medium diced onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 6 small carrots
  • 3 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 3 tsp. tapioca
  • 1 slice bread, cubed

Directions

    Cut carrots in pieces and combine all ingredients. Do not brown meat.

    Put in a 3-quart casserole. Bake covered in a 325° oven for 3 hours.
