- 2 1/2 lb. stew beef
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 bunch celery
- 6 carrots
- 4 potatoes, diced
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. tapioca
- 3 c. tomato juice
- pepper, to taste
Directions

1Combine beef, onions, celery and carrots in a large casserole dish.

2Mix salt, sugar, tapioca, tomato juice and pepper.

3Pour over meat mixture.

4Add diced potatoes after 2 hours cooking. Total cook time is 4 to 5 hours at 250°.
