Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 4 eggs
- 4 c. warm water
- lots of flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Combine yeast, 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 cup of warm water. Combine 1 cup sugar, eggs, shortening, 4 cups warm water and salt. Add yeast mixture and flour, alternating.

2Mix and add enough flour to make dough easy to handle.

3Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead in enough flour until smooth and elastic (takes a lot of flour).

4Put dough in greased bowl.

5Cover and allow to raise until double. Punch down and allow to raise again. Do this every hour for about three times.

6Shape into loaves or rolls; place in greased pans.

7Refrigerate overnight.

8Bake in the morning at 350° for about 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
