  • 6 c. sliced cucumbers with skin
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 onion, sliced thin (optional 1 to 2)
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed

Directions

    Heat sugar, vinegar, salt and seed until sugar is melted. Pour over cucumbers and onion in a large bowl.

    Cover and put in refrigerator overnight.

    Put in jars next day.

    These will store well for months if kept in the refrigerator.
