- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. carrots
- 1/2 c. potatoes, diced
- 12 small onions
Directions

1Roll meat in flour.

2Season.

3Brown in hot fat.

4Simmer together with first 12 ingredients for 3 hours.

5Then add vegetables and simmer until tender.
