  • 1 1/2 loaves bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. Milnot
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans oysters
  • chicken broth
  • butter

Directions

    Toast bread in oven.

    In bowl, mix eggs, Milnot and a little salt.

    In another bowl, put oysters, salt them and turn.

    Heat chicken broth.

    Mix a little hot chicken broth in eggs and Milnot. Put oysters in this.

    Crumble bread and put oysters and egg mixture in and then pour boiling broth over bread.

    Taste for salt and pepper.

    Add a lump of butter.

    Heat at 350° for 1 hour.
