- 1 qt. shucked oysters with liquor
- 2 qt. milk
- 1/4 c. butter, cut into pieces
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- paprika
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
Directions

1Cook oysters in their liquor in large pot over high heat until edges begin to curl (2 to 3 minutes).

2Add milk, butter, salt and pepper.

3Reduce heat to medium-low; heat until hot.

4Pour into tureen or individual bowl.

5Sprinkle with paprika and parsley. Makes 8 servings.
