- 12 pieces bread
- 12 frying oysters
- 1 large onion
- 3 Tbsp. sherry wine
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 c. crumbled potato chips
- 5 strips bacon
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 c. combined oyster liquid and milk
- salt and pepper
- garlic salt
Directions

1Spread butter on bread.

2Place in a 250° oven until hard (not brown).

3Grease flat baking dish with bacon fat.

4Crush bread; place about 2/3 on bottom of dish.

5Make a layer of oysters on top of crumbs.

6Place onion rings on top of oysters.

7Cover with remaining crumbs.

8Take oyster liquid and add milk to make 1 1/2 cups.

9Add Worcestershire sauce, wine, salt, pepper and garlic salt; stir well.

10Pour over bread just to moisten.

11Sprinkle cheese on top.

12Cut bacon in 1-inch strips.

13Place on cheese. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes and under broiler for 3 minutes.
